Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company, a global leader in the coffeehouse industry, prides itself on crafting the world's finest coffee while fostering meaningful connections within communities. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown from a single store in Seattle to a multinational chain, renowned for its commitment to quality, innovation, and social responsibility. At Starbucks, the atmosphere is more than just a place to grab coffee; it is a welcoming space where every cup sparks connection, conversation, and joy. With a focus on sustainability, ethical sourcing, and community involvement, Starbucks continues to set the standard for coffee culture worldwide.

The role of a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks is integral to upholding this tradition and essence. This leadership position goes beyond managing daily operations; it is about inspiring and empowering a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences that resonate on a personal level. As a coffeehouse leader, you embrace your entrepreneurial spirit within a sales-focused environment, combining strong organizational and interpersonal skills to create an inclusive and engaging atmosphere for both customers and partners (employees).

The ideal candidate brings a blend of retail or customer service management experience—specifically, three or more years in these fields—or alternatively, four or more years of U.S. military service. You will utilize your leadership capabilities to coach, mentor, and develop your team professionally, fostering a culture of respect and excellence. You will empower your team to not only meet but exceed operational goals while ensuring the coffeehouse remains a cherished community hub. This full-time role demands flexibility, offering variable hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.

Starbucks invests significantly in the personal and professional growth of its partners by providing industry-leading benefits and developmental opportunities. These benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, supplemental and basic life insurance, and disability insurance. Paid parental leave, vacation, paid sick time, holidays, and personal days create a supportive environment promoting work-life balance. Additionally, Starbucks offers financial wellness programs, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, and stock participation plans that empower partners to share in the company’s success.

Education benefits are a hallmark of Starbucks’ commitment to partner growth, offering 100% upfront tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program via the Starbucks College Achievement Plan. This innovative initiative underscores Starbucks' dedication to lifelong learning and career advancement.

Join Starbucks and become part of a team where your leadership not only drives operational excellence but also creates an environment where your community feels valued and connected. If you are passionate about coffee and people and are eager to lead with craft and heart, this is the opportunity for you to make an impact in a place where quality, people, and value are paramount.
