Established as a pioneer in specialty coffee, Starbucks operates in numerous countries, setting high standards in the coffee retail market through exceptional service, quality products, and community involvement. The company emphasizes values such as inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation, making it a desirable place for both customers and employees alike.
As a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, you step into a role that goes beyond traditional management. It involves nurturing a sense of community within your coffeehouse, guiding your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences, and crafting every moment with care and intention. This leadership position demands not only a passion for coffee but also a dedication to fostering team growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The role offers a dynamic environment where no two days are alike, presenting opportunities to engage with diverse customers and lead a motivated team.
Starbucks values the development of its partners, offering extensive growth opportunities and professional development experiences to empower you at every stage of your career. As a partner, you will be part of a supportive culture that promotes continuous learning, leadership development, and work-life balance.
This role requires a minimum of three years of retail or customer service management experience or four or more years of US Military service. Candidates should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, along with an entrepreneurial spirit suited for a sales-focused environment. Effective leadership abilities and the capacity to coach and mentor team members with maturity are essential. While a minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required, Starbucks encourages candidates who are eager to grow and make a positive impact in their communities.
Starbucks partners enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, paid parental leave, vacation and sick leave accrual starting from the date of hire, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Additionally, Starbucks supports higher education with 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program. The company is dedicated to creating an inclusive workplace and complies fully with applicable state and local employment laws.
Joining Starbucks as a coffeehouse leader means becoming part of a globally respected brand that prioritizes quality, community, and partner well-being. It is an opportunity to grow as an individual, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. If you are passionate about coffee and leadership and want to work for a company that cares deeply about its partners and customers, Starbucks invites you to apply and connect with something bigger today.
