Beyond just serving coffee, Starbucks is dedicated to fostering warm, welcoming environments where individuals from all walks of life can gather, connect, and share meaningful experiences.
As a company, Starbucks places immense value on its partners – the employees who are at the heart of its operations. The company is known for its progressive employment practices, focusing on partner development, inclusivity, and offering industry-leading benefits that support both personal and professional growth. Starbucks strives to build a workplace culture that emphasizes respect, diversity, and the empowerment of its team members to lead with integrity and passion.
In this role, you will serve as a coffeehouse leader responsible for orchestrating daily operations with an emphasis on creating moments of joy and connection within the community. This position is more than just management; it is about inspiring and guiding a team to embody Starbucks' mission of crafting the world's finest coffee one meaningful moment at a time. You will be entrusted with ensuring quality service, maintaining operational excellence, and cultivating an environment where customers and partners alike feel valued and motivated.
You will lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities to develop team partners fully. With a focus on sales and operational success, you will manage organizational aspects such as scheduling, inventory, customer service quality, and team engagement. The role demands an entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills to adapt to the dynamic nature of retail coffee service.
Starbucks values experience from diverse backgrounds and particularly welcomes candidates with retail management or customer service experience or those who have served in the U.S. Military for four or more years. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exhibits professional maturity, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills to foster a culture of teamwork and sales excellence.
Employment with Starbucks in this role is full-time, often requiring availability for more than 40 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks is deeply invested in the growth journeys of its partners, offering numerous developmental experiences and comprehensive benefits designed to support well-being and career advancement.
The compensation for this position is competitive and reflects various factors, including the candidate's experience, skills, geographical location, and internal equity within Starbucks. As a Starbucks partner, you and your family gain access to a robust suite of benefits covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, parental leave, paid vacation and holidays, disability coverage, 401(k) retirement plans with employer match, and educational opportunities like full tuition coverage through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan. In addition, Starbucks offers financial well-being tools, employee stock purchase programs, and support for family expansion and backup care, underscoring the company’s commitment to comprehensive partner care.
Starbucks Coffee Company is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. The company provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities and ensures fair consideration for all qualified candidates, including those with criminal histories, in accordance with applicable laws.
