The General Manager role at Braum's is vital to the success and daily operations of their stores. This position requires a dynamic and energetic individual who can lead by example while executing the company's brand strategy aligned with its vision, mission, and values. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's food service functions, grocery market operations, and fountain sales. This comprehensive management role ensures that the unit consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences, maximizes sales, and maintains strict adherence to store policies and cleanliness standards.
The General Manager will lead the store team by providing coaching, training, and motivating crew members to achieve store goals. The position demands strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage resources efficiently. The role includes monitoring inventory levels, kitchen equipment functionality, employee performance, and safety compliance.
Working at Braum's offers an excellent compensation package with an annual salary ranging from $64,000 to $72,500 and a guaranteed bonus for the first 12 weeks paid bi-weekly at the maximum level. The work schedule is based on a rotating three-week plan requiring approximately 45 hours per week, mostly during the 10:00 am to 7:30 pm shift. This position reports directly to the District Manager, providing an opportunity to collaborate closely with upper management while steering the store toward business objectives.
Ideal candidates for this role are results-driven professionals with three or more years of experience running and leading retail store units. They demonstrate a high work ethic, integrity, and a positive training approach. The ability to build successful teams by fostering trust and adapting to the needs of both customers and employees is essential. Additionally, a General Manager must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to analyze reporting data effectively to enhance store performance. A minimum educational background of an associate degree or some college experience is preferred. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have valid driver license

- 3-5 years of running, managing and leading a retail store unit

Job Duties
- Oversees the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
- Monitors inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
- Ensures that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
- Teaching, coaching and providing leadership to the store crew members and ensures that unit goals are achieved
- Provide an enhanced customer-centric culture that includes consistent guest service and food quality
