The General Manager role at Braum's is a pivotal position responsible for executing the company's brand strategy and reinforcing its vision, mission, and values. This leadership role emphasizes delivering a superior customer experience while maximizing sales and ensuring operational excellence. The General Manager oversees daily operations encompassing food service functions, grocery market activities, and fountain sales. In this role, the General Manager will cultivate a strong customer-centric culture through consistent guest service and food quality. They will lead, coach, and develop the store crew members, fostering a team environment built on trust and high performance. The position offers an annual salary range of $82,500 to $92,000, with a guaranteed bonus at the maximum level during the first 12 weeks, paid bi-weekly. The work schedule involves a rotating 3-week cycle with varying days and an expected 45-hour week. Reporting directly to the District Manager, this role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a positive approach to leadership, and the ability to adapt to both customer and team needs.

The ideal candidate for the General Manager position at Braum's will possess a solid work ethic with integrity, a customer-first mindset, and a proven track record of successfully managing retail store units. Candidates should be capable of analyzing performance reports, facilitating effective team alignment, and ensuring the fulfillment of unit goals. Educational preferences include some college or an associate degree, alongside at least three years of experience in a similar leadership role. Additionally, candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have valid driver license
  • 3 years of experience in general management or retail store management
  • Ability to work 45 hours per week on a rotating 3 week schedule
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of running, managing and leading a retail store unit
  • Associates degree or some college preferred
  • Ability to build a successful team by building an environment of trust
  • Positive approach to training, developing and interacting with all levels of the store team
  • Organized, detailed and able to follow practices/procedures
  • Able to review, understand and analyze reporting results
  • Can communicate effectively with leadership team members

Job Duties

  • Oversees the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
  • Monitors inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
  • Ensures that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
  • Teaching, coaching and providing leadership to the store crew members and ensures that unit goals are achieved
  • Provide an enhanced customer-centric culture that includes consistent guest service and food quality
