Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain dedicated to crafting the world’s finest coffee while creating meaningful connections in every cup served. With a strong commitment to quality, community, and customer experience, Starbucks operates thousands of stores worldwide and prides itself on being a warm and welcoming place where people come together. The company continuously invests in its partners (employees) to support their growth journeys through various developmental opportunities and industry-leading benefits, fostering an environment that encourages both personal and professional development.
As a Starbucks coffeehouse leader, you will not only manage business operations but also lead a dedicated team focused on creating moments of connection and joy for every customer. This role demands leadership with both craft and heart, helping to build a community hub where customers feel welcomed and valued. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment, applying your organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to enhance the overall customer experience and drive business success. Leadership skills are essential, as you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members with professional maturity and an entrepreneurial mindset. Starbucks values individuals with retail or customer service management experience, particularly those with a background in the US military, recognizing the unique skills and perspectives they bring.
The role involves working full-time, often exceeding 40 hours per week, including variable shifts such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands. Starbucks provides comprehensive training and empowers its leaders to make impactful decisions. Compensation is competitive and takes into account knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. Benefits for Starbucks partners include access to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid parental leave, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, retirement plans with employer matching, stock purchase programs, tuition coverage for a bachelor's degree, financial well-being tools, and more. Starbucks is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion as an equal opportunity employer and supports reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities. Joining Starbucks as a coffeehouse leader means becoming part of a company that values people, quality, and community, providing an environment where you can grow, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful impact, one cup at a time.
