As a Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our brand by managing store operations and driving a sales and service culture that maximizes profitability and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the District Manager, your responsibilities will encompass managing the entire store team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that the store meets key performance metrics (KPMs). You will act as a leader, recruiter, trainer, and mentor for your team, fostering an environment where outstanding customer service is standard. This role demands strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a keen focus on growth strategies within a fast-paced retail environment.
Your leadership will be instrumental in recruiting, training, and developing the store team, ensuring ongoing professional growth and managing disciplinary actions effectively when necessary. You will be responsible for all operational functions, including payroll management, inventory control, merchandising, and reducing shrinkage. A key aspect of your role will be delivering an exceptional customer experience by setting high standards for service quality and maintaining a welcoming, informed store atmosphere. Resolving customer issues promptly and professionally will reflect your commitment to customer satisfaction.
Maintaining positive vendor relationships is also fundamental to this role, supporting the store’s inventory objectives and promoting a seamless supply chain. As the custodian of store compliance, you will ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations related to alcohol sales, maintaining a safe and compliant environment for both customers and employees. This position offers a competitive salary range from $69,350 to $99,864 annually and is classified as a regular, exempt position. This role is ideal for someone with a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field and significant experience in retail management, particularly within sales-driven environments. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and move for extended periods and the capability to lift and handle heavy items, making this a physically engaging and rewarding role. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4-6 years of work experience
- big box experience preferred
- ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 5+ years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting
- experience leading, developing and motivating a sales-focused team
- experience managing overall financial performance
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
