The role of Store Leader (Manager) Trainee at 7-Eleven offers a unique opportunity to join this vibrant organization. As a trainee, you will undergo a comprehensive three-month training program designed to equip you with the skills required to drive store operations with excellence. You will master customer service leadership, team coaching, sales optimization, and store performance management. As part of the store leadership team, you will be responsible for executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, and developing the store team. Job Requirements
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all employees
- Desire to maintain high retention and develop leadership within the store
- Ability to implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Ability to analyze and utilize P&L and store reports
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty programs
- Maintain compliance with health and sanitation procedures ensuring store safety and cleanliness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer use, particularly Microsoft products
- High school diploma or GED preferred or one year retail management experience
- Valid Driver's License and automotive liability insurance
- Ability to multi-task and physically perform store duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required with one year of retail management experience
- Supervisory or management experience in retail preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and perform physical activities such as bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Valid Driver's License with automotive liability insurance
Job Duties
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
- Implement all merchandising and marketing programs
- Use P&L and store reports to drive operational changes
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the rewards loyalty program
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
