The Store Leader (Manager) Trainee role at 7-Eleven is designed for ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals ready to embark on a rewarding career path. Job Requirements

  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for store employees
  • Desire to maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants and empowering employees
  • Ability to implement merchandising and marketing programs
  • Experience using P&L reports for store improvements
  • Ability to manage cash handling and fuel transactions
  • Maintain clean and safe store environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft products
  • High school diploma or GED preferred with retail management experience
  • Valid driver's license and automotive insurance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with retail management experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and automotive liability insurance

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
  • Maintain high employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, and encouraging productivity
  • Implement all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Use profit and loss and store reports to drive operational change
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the rewards loyalty program
  • Ensure a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
  • Communicate effectively and maintain intrapersonal relationships with staff and customers
