Job Description
7-Eleven is a globally recognized brand with over 86,000 locations, making it the largest retailer in the world. Founded on a commitment to revolutionize convenience, 7-Eleven continually pushes the boundaries of what a convenience store can be by integrating innovative restaurant offerings and fuel services. This commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction makes 7-Eleven a leader in the retail industry. At its core, 7-Eleven is much more than a convenience store — it is a community hub, providing a wide variety of products and services to millions of customers worldwide every day.
As a Store Manager at 7-Eleven, you will be the heart and soul of your store location. This leadership role is critical in executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, and developing the skills and potential of the entire store team. The Store Manager works closely with one or two assistants to form the leadership backbone of the store. This position requires a proactive and dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is eager to contribute meaningfully to both customer experience and team growth.
7-Eleven offers an exceptional career path for those passionate about retail management. Many Store Managers started in entry-level positions such as cashiers or part-time roles, illustrating that dedication and hard work are rewarded with opportunities for advancement. The company invests heavily in training and development programs to ensure every Store Manager is well-prepared to lead and succeed. This role offers the chance to grow professionally within a company that values promoting from within and fostering leadership talent.
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing customer service excellence, coaching and training employees, managing cash handling operations including fuel transactions, and promoting the company’s rewards loyalty program. You will use profit and loss reports and other store metrics to implement strategies that improve store performance. Maintaining a clean, safe store environment that complies with health and sanitation standards is also an essential part of the role.
The compensation for this position ranges between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, reflecting the commitment 7-Eleven has to attract capable and motivated leaders. Additionally, the company provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, life, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401K or RRSP plan depending on location, tuition reimbursement, and monthly bonus incentives. This role not only offers a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits but also the chance to be part of a renowned brand that continually shapes the future of convenience retail.
Joining 7-Eleven means becoming part of a company that values diversity and offers equal employment opportunities. The organization respects and supports candidates with varied backgrounds, including those with criminal histories as outlined by local hiring initiatives. If you are ready to lead, grow, and make a real impact in your community, the Store Manager position at 7-Eleven provides a rewarding and dynamic career path.
