7-Eleven is hiring for the position of Store Manager, a crucial leadership role within the company. The Store Manager, also known as the Store Leader, acts as the heart and soul of the store, overseeing all daily store operations. Supported by assistant managers, the Store Leader is responsible for executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving store profitability, and developing the skills of the entire store team. This role requires someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, leading a team, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment for customers.

The Store Manager has a wide range of responsibilities including providing customer service leadership, training and coaching employees, and overseeing merchandising and marketing programs. A critical part of the job is to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the company’s rewards loyalty program. The role also requires the ability to analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements and store reports to make data-driven decisions to enhance store performance.

7-Eleven prioritizes safety and cleanliness, expecting store leaders to comply with health and sanitation procedures to maintain a welcoming store environment. Successful candidates will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer applications like Microsoft Word and Excel, and the physical ability to perform store-related tasks such as bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but candidates with at least one year of retail management experience will also be considered.

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance
  • Ability to multi-task, perform bending, standing, reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds
