As a Store Leader (Manager) Trainee at 7-Eleven, you will embark on an exciting and dynamic career path that begins with comprehensive training to master essential store operations and leadership skills. Over the first three months, you will engage in an intensive training program designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to drive sales, optimize store performance, and lead store teams to success. The Store Leader Trainee program supports those with previous supervisory experience, or who have demonstrated the ability to manage retail operations effectively. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, candidates with at least one year of retail management experience will also be considered. A valid driver’s license and automotive insurance are required, as well as the physical capability to perform tasks such as multi-tasking, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged preferred but not required for candidates that have at least one year of retail management experience
  • valid driver’s license from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment
  • ability to multi-task perform repeated bending standing and reaching and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • oversee and provide customer service leadership training and coaching for all store employees
  • maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants developing leaders empowering employees and encouraging productivity
  • oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs
  • use profit and loss statements and store reports to affect change
  • manage cash handling fuel transactions and promotion of the rewards loyalty program
  • maintain a clean safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
  • ensure the store is presentable and all products are in stock
