This full-time role, based in Malibu, California, transitions the candidate through a rigorous initial three-month training program, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to become key operators within the store environment. Store Leaders are the backbone of the store’s success, responsible for executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving sales and profitability, and leading teams to deliver exceptional customer service. Store Leaders work closely with their assistant managers to oversee daily store operations, from inventory management and cash handling to team development and customer engagement.The ideal candidate will gain comprehensive training and mentoring that not only bolsters their business acumen but also prepares them for future leadership roles within the organization. Store Leaders are expected to possess strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to adapt and lead in a fast-paced retail environment. Job Requirements
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for store employees
- Desire to maintain high retention through employee development and productivity
- Ability to implement merchandising and marketing initiatives
- Ability to utilize financial reports and P&L statements to implement changes
- Experience in managing cash, fuel transactions, and rewards programs
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe store environment in compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or GED preferred or retail management experience
- Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required
- Physical ability to perform job duties including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with retail management experience
- Previous supervisory or retail management experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Duties
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Maintain high employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and fostering productivity
- Implement all merchandising and marketing programs effectively
- Use P&L and store reports to drive performance improvements
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the rewards loyalty program
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety compliance, maintaining health and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and demonstrate proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
