The role of Store Leader (Manager) Trainee at 7-Eleven offers a unique opportunity to launch a fulfilling managerial career within a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment. This full-time position is designed as an intensive, hands-on training program spanning the first three months, where trainees will develop critical leadership skills and operational expertise. Trainees learn to lead and inspire teams, manage store performance, drive sales, and enforce merchandising and marketing initiatives. The Store Leader is at the core of store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and optimizing profitability. Trainees are coached to leverage key financial and operational reports, including profit and loss statements, to implement effective strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
  • Desire to maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
  • Ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Demonstrated ability to use profit and loss and store reports to affect change
  • Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote rewards loyalty program
  • Demonstrated ability maintaining a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of retail management experience
  • Valid driver’s license with automotive liability insurance
  • Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications
