The Store Leader (Manager) Trainee role at 7-Eleven offers an exciting entry point for individuals eager to build a rewarding career in retail management. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with one year retail management experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Valid driver’s license with automotive liability insurance
  • Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to oversee and provide leadership, training, and coaching for employees

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of retail management experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
  • Ability to use P&L and store performance reports for decision making
  • Valid driver’s license with automotive liability insurance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
  • Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
  • Oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Use profit and loss (P&L) and store reports to affect positive change
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with health and sanitation procedures
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
