The role of Assistant Restaurant Leader at 7-Eleven is a full-time management position focused on supporting the restaurant leadership team in delivering outstanding customer service and operational excellence. This role involves supervision and leadership of restaurant employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and health department standards, and maintaining high food preparation and presentation standards. The Assistant Restaurant Leader will actively participate in training and coaching staff, monitoring restaurant conditions, and using profit-and-loss (P&L) reports and store data to drive positive changes and improvements. Job Requirements

  • Desire to lead and train restaurant employees
  • Ability to maintain restaurant condition according to company and health standards
  • Strong focus on food preparation and presentation quality
  • Experience using financial and operational reports to drive improvements
  • Ability to read and understand procedure manuals and operating instructions
  • Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office Suite
  • Availability to perform physical tasks including repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • High School diploma or GED preferred or at least one year of restaurant management experience

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environment preferred
  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of Restaurant Management experience
  • Proficient computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret operational documents and manuals
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards for food service operations

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for restaurant employees
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Health Department Standards for restaurant condition
  • Monitor and maintain proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products
  • Utilize P&L and store reports to implement operational changes
  • Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations alongside the Restaurant Leader
  • Support employee engagement and team collaboration to meet company goals
