The Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven is a critical management position within the company’s restaurant division. This full-time role is based at the Lockport, Illinois location and offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $21.00. As an Assistant Restaurant Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations, leading the team in delivering high-quality customer service, and ensuring compliance with health department standards and company policies. This role involves overseeing restaurant conditions, quality control of foodservice products, and maintaining operational efficiency. You will be responsible for training and coaching restaurant employees to perform at their best and will use business reports such as profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training and coaching alongside the Restaurant Leader
  • Ability to ensure restaurant condition complies with company policies, procedures, and Health Department Standards
  • Strength in ensuring proper preparations, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products
  • Demonstrated ability to use profit and loss and store reports to impact change
  • Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Proficient computer knowledge, preferably Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required for candidates with one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to multitask and perform physical duties including bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required with one year of restaurant management experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environment
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong leadership and team coaching skills
  • Ability to read and interpret relevant operational documents
