The Assistant Restaurant Leader role is a key management position within the 7-Eleven brand, specifically supporting Speedway store operations in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This full-time role is designed for individuals with previous supervisory experience who desire to grow their leadership skills and contribute to a high-performing team. The Assistant Restaurant Leader will work closely alongside the Restaurant Leader to provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for restaurant employees, ensuring smooth daily operations that reflect the company’s standards of quality and compliance. Employees in this role are expected to uphold company policies, including those related to health and safety, and ensure the proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products.

Job Requirements

  • Desire to oversee customer service leadership training and coaching
  • Ability to maintain restaurant condition meeting company and Health Department standards
  • Strength in ensuring proper food preparation presentation and freshness
  • Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports for change management
  • Ability to read and interpret operation and maintenance instructions
  • Proficient computer skills preferably Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High School diploma or GED preferred or one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to multitask and perform physical activities including bending standing reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required with restaurant management experience
  • Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
  • Proficient computer knowledge especially Microsoft Word and Excel
