The Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) position at 7-Eleven is based at the Midland, Texas location within the Stripes brand. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience. The job offers full-time hours and competitive pay while providing valuable management and leadership experience. The Assistant Restaurant Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant Leader by overseeing all restaurant employees, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high operational standards. This role is not only about day-to-day management but also about contributing to the store's overall success through effective coaching, training, and leadership.

This position focuses on ensuring the restaurant complies with company policies, procedures, and health department standards. The Assistant Restaurant Leader will be responsible for the quality and freshness of all foodservice products, maintaining the restaurant’s condition, and utilizing P&L and store reports to drive positive changes. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel, are preferred as they support the administrative tasks involved in this role. While a High School diploma or GED is preferred, it is not required for candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience. Physical requirements include the ability to multi-task and handle repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership training and coaching
  • Ability to ensure restaurant compliance with policies procedures and health standards
  • Capability to maintain foodservice product quality and freshness
  • Ability to utilize P&L and store reports to implement changes
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting operating manuals
  • Strong computer knowledge especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High school diploma or GED preferred not required with experience
  • Ability to multi-task perform bending standing reaching and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
  • Ability to provide leadership and training to a team
