The HomeGoods Store located at 8188 Park Lane, Dallas, TX, is currently seeking a dedicated Floor Care Associate who will be instrumental in maintaining the quality and integrity of the store environment. This role focuses on exceptional floor care responsibilities, including operating cleaning equipment like scrubbers and buffers, as well as performing dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows to ensure the store remains pristine and inviting for customers and employees alike.
As a Floor Care Associate at HomeGoods, you will adhere strictly to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards set by TJX Companies. The role requires cross-training to support multiple areas within the store, such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor, fostering versatility and a comprehensive understanding of store operations. You will be a role model for excellent customer service practices, engaging with internal colleagues and external customers with honesty, integrity, and respect. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining high cleanliness standards across all store areas, including staff lounges, restrooms, and queue areas, upholding company policies including health and safety requirements.
The position offers a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Job Requirements
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
- Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
- Maintains all floor care cleanliness standards including the maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer
- Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store, e.g. Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom and Restrooms
- Adheres to all company policies concerning health and safety (includes the refilling of all essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms and Front End)
- Cross-trained in other areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.)
- Supports and responds to all Front End coverage needs
- Adheres and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
- Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
- Adheres to all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelines and policies including shrink reduction
- Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates
- Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies
- Participates in safety awareness maintains a safe environment
- Other duties as assigned
