The HomeGoods Store, part of the TJX portfolio, is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Floor Care Associates. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the store, which directly contributes to a positive shopping experience for customers. The position involves a variety of floor care responsibilities such as operating scrubbers and buffers, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and performing spot cleaning on glass and windows. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards while being cross-trained across multiple areas of the store to support different business needs.

They will play a key part in upholding store cleanliness standards not just on the sales floor but across the entire store including the associate lounge, restrooms, backroom, and front end. Job Requirements
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Capable of operating floor care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment focusing on floor care
- Operate scrubber and buffer equipment
- Perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning of glass and windows
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards
- Cross-trained to work in multiple store areas including backroom, front end, and sales floor
- Support and embody positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
- Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
- Participate in store recovery and respond to front end coverage needs
- Communicate effectively with management and associates
- Comply with labor laws, including meal and break policies
- Maintain safety awareness and a safe environment
