The Cashier role at TA is a vital position that ensures our customers receive outstanding service during their visits to our travel centers. As the first point of contact, the Cashier is responsible for managing transactions efficiently and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps travelers coming back. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Responsibilities include handling sales through a point-of-sale (POS) register, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the food and beverage sections, restocking merchandise, and prioritizing tasks in alignment with the store’s operational needs. Safety and communication are also key components of the role, as Cashiers must adhere to established safety protocols and maintain strong rapport with management and fellow team members. This full-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $17.13 to $21.76 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills, as well as an excellent benefits package that supports work-life balance and professional development. Available work hours include nights, weekends, and select holidays, requiring flexibility and a team-oriented mindset. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cash handling or retail experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work well in a team environment

Job Duties
