Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Capability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- Good visual acuity for close inspection tasks
- Legal ability to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Basic math and cashiering skills
- Compassionate and customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- Greeting customers warmly and offering assistance with locating products
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor through restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and inventory management
- Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- Providing customer support across departments such as photo and beauty ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel including working shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities arise
- Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
