Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- Good visual acuity for detailed tasks
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Availability for part-time work averaging 29 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and cashier skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Willingness to support multiple departments and learn new skills
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
- Focusing on the customer with a warm and friendly greeting and assisting with locating products
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing customer support across departments including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed and participating in career development opportunities
- Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support better health
