Retail Store Associates are responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the store is welcoming, fully stocked, and operating efficiently. Employees in this role also play a crucial part in loss prevention by resolving price discrepancies immediately and ensuring proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed according to company policies and government regulations.

Additionally, the Retail Store Associate collaborates with other departments to support storewide promotions and respond promptly to the needs of the business. Flexibility is important since associates may be called to assist in other areas as business demands. This role requires physical stamina to perform activities such as standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and lifting/carrying loads up to 80 pounds, as well as the ability to operate various equipment like slicers, mixers, ovens, fryers, and computerized label machines.
