The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health is a vital role that offers individuals an opportunity to join a family-oriented, customer-centric retail environment. Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
  • Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
  • Good visual acuity for tasks such as reading, computer use, and inspecting small details
  • Availability to work part-time hours around 25 hours per week
  • Willingness to support different store departments and tasks as needed
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures accurately

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
  • Offering a warm and friendly greeting while assisting customers with locating additional items
  • Performing cashier duties accurately by handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
  • Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks
  • Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
  • Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring these areas are fully stocked and operational
  • Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
  • Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the company’s health mission
