Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- Good visual acuity for tasks such as reading, computer use, and inspecting small details
- Availability to work part-time hours around 25 hours per week
- Willingness to support different store departments and tasks as needed
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for cashier duties
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new health services and tools
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- Offering a warm and friendly greeting while assisting customers with locating additional items
- Performing cashier duties accurately by handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring these areas are fully stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the company’s health mission
