The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health is a vital role designed for individuals passionate about serving customers and enhancing their shopping experience in a retail pharmacy setting. This role is part-time with an anticipated weekly schedule of approximately 22 hours and offers a competitive pay range between $15.00 and $22.00 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, education, and location. As a Retail Store Associate, you will engage directly with customers, providing exceptional service by anticipating their needs, demonstrating empathy, and resolving any service issues that arise. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will support various store operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include performing cashier duties with accuracy and integrity, managing cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies. Additionally, associates are responsible for maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, managing inventory, updating pricing, and supporting store opening and closing activities when needed. The role also extends to assisting departments such as photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and functional, and offering support to pharmacy personnel, including opportunities for growth by working shifts in the pharmacy. This position requires individuals who can remain on their feet for sustained periods, lift and move objects up to 35 pounds occasionally, and have good visual acuity to perform tasks requiring close inspection. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in retail or customer service environments, enabling associates to better anticipate and respond to customer needs.
