Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds for up to 30 minutes per shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push and/or pull with up to 20 pounds of force
- Bend at the waist with twisting for up to one hour per shift
- Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects requiring eye-hand coordination
- Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and overnight
- Availability for full-time employment
- Regular and predictable onsite attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or convenience store operations preferred
- Previous supervisor or management experience advantageous
- Ability to recruit, interview, and hire new employees
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in cash-handling and bookkeeping
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to motivate and teach others
Job Duties
- Assist the Store Manager with oversight of station store operations
- Help with hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks
- Manage bookkeeping and merchandising activities
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and customer service
- Provide fast and friendly service to customers
- Execute the food program according to company standards
- Display leadership, urgency, and patience while setting an example for staff
- Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
