This part-time position offers an hourly rate of $17.98 and demands a warm and personable approach to service. As a Barista, you will be instrumental in crafting a welcoming atmosphere by preparing and serving specialty coffee and espresso beverages while building genuine connections with guests. Your role extends beyond beverage preparation; it involves anticipating guest needs, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace to enhance the overall guest experience.

Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Previous barista experience is preferred
  • Requires reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to have strong communication skills between co-workers and guests
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve a selection of specialty coffees and prepared espresso beverages
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
  • Anticipate guest needs ascertain satisfaction offer suggestions and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks process cash and credit card payments properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
  • Maintain high level of cleanliness organization and stocking at the bar area
  • Ensure each guest is greeted promptly courteously graciously with eye contact and a smile
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
