Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in stewarding or related hospitality role
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the role
  • Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily back of house operations overseeing utility stewards dishwashers and temporary staff to ensure timely transport and cleaning of utensils and serviceware for restaurant and banquet operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization supervising cleaning of back-of-house spaces to uphold sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Support inventory and equipment needs ensuring proper inventory levels managing equipment storage and distribution and coordinating the timely delivery of food and equipment for all functions
  • Support team performance and development assisting with day-to-day team oversight scheduling shifts coaching and professional development conducting evaluations and recognizing achievements
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics tracking breakage and loss reports updating operating manuals and assisting with monthly inventories to support cost controls and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate across teams partnering with kitchen bar and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service assisting team members where needed
  • Uphold regulatory standards maintaining compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
