Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in stewarding role preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Food and beverage experience required
  • Ability to work in hot and cold conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Prior stewarding experience preferred
  • At least one-year supervisory experience preferred
  • At least six months food and beverage experience required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and inventory accuracy

Job Duties

  • Polishes all required banquet equipment including chafers, flatware, coffee and water pitchers
  • Pulls and issues equipment as outlined on the function pull sheet completed by captains
  • Ensures equipment is properly rotated for use during events
  • Responsible for daily and weekly inventory of banquet equipment
  • Organizes and facilitates quarterly inventory of all china, glass, and silverware
  • Maintains inventory logs and reports discrepancies to Banquet Manager
  • Prepares back aisle items and assists with traying for banquet functions
