The role of Banquet Steward Supervisor at Wild Dunes Resort is pivotal to upholding the resort's commitment to excellence. This supervisory position oversees the cleanliness, inventory, and issuance of banquet equipment, a critical function in ensuring smooth and successful banquet operations. The supervisor is responsible for following strict procedures related to handling, cleaning, and disposing of food and beverage items in adherence to health and safety standards. Daily oversight includes polishing essential banquet equipment such as chafers, flatware, pitchers, and more, ensuring everything is impeccably maintained for each event.
The Banquet Steward Supervisor manages inventory meticulously, with daily checks on hollowware and chafers and alternating weekly inventories of china, flatware, and glassware. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, vital for maintaining the high standards expected by the resort.
In addition to inventory management, the supervisor prepares back aisle items for events and assists in plating salads, entrees, and desserts when necessary. Maintaining an orderly and clean work environment in the back hall and loading dock is also a key responsibility, involving routine sweeping, mopping, and trash management. The Banquet Steward Supervisor routinely communicates all significant issues or unusual matters to their immediate supervisor, ensuring constant alignment with the management team and smooth operation of banquet services.
This position offers a unique chance to join a team that values empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing. Wild Dunes Resort supports its team members with competitive wages, extensive benefits including health, dental, vision, paid time off, family bonding time, 401K with company match, and access to beach, tennis, and pickleball facilities.
