Job Description

The Junto is a vibrant, contemporary hotel inspired by the spirit and legacy of Benjamin Franklin's original "club for mutual improvement." Just as Franklin's club brought together diverse individuals from various backgrounds to discuss and innovate, The Junto serves as a modern-day gathering place where visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists can converge, exchange ideas, and fuel creativity. Situated in the heart of Columbus, this unique hotel not only provides exceptional accommodations but also acts as a cultural landmark dedicated to fostering connection and inspiration within the community. At The Junto, every guest experiences a fusion of thoughtful design, lively ambiance, and a commitment to community engagement, making it both a destination and a cornerstone of Columbus's evolving identity.

The Stewarding Manager plays a critical role within The Junto's operations, overseeing the stewards who are the unsung heroes behind the scenes in the kitchen and dining areas. While the steward team handles tasks that go far beyond merely washing dishes—such as cleaning, organizing, stocking, and resetting the kitchen to create a seamless environment—the Stewarding Manager ensures these duties are performed at the highest standard. This leadership position requires managing and scheduling steward team members, promoting clear and effective communication, and upholding rigorous cleanliness and safety protocols. The Stewarding Manager must lead by example to maintain a guest-first mentality while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of the kitchen operations, supporting both culinary excellence and overall guest satisfaction.
