In addition to managing day-to-day kitchen activities, the Kitchen Utility Supervisor will actively engage in employee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes, cultivating a motivated workforce focused on continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires clear communication with executives, peers, subordinates, vendors, and health department officials. The ability to comprehend budgets, payroll, and operational statements is important to support the financial goals of the department and Marriott Orlando property.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in procurement, food and beverage, culinary or related field
- OR 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
- 2 years experience in procurement, food and beverage, culinary or related field
- Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and payroll

Job Qualifications
