Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work an eight-hour shift
- capability to handle physically demanding work conditions
- willingness to use cleaning chemicals safely and according to OSHA standards
- reliable and punctual
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices

- familiarity with OSHA chemical handling regulations

- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- operating dishwashing machines
- hand washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils/equipment
- cleaning and maintaining equipment
- completing other special cleaning projects as assigned
- working an eight-hour shift in hot, noisy, damp, and sometimes close conditions
- working cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- using correct cleaning chemicals for designated items according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- setting up and organizing workstations with designated supplies and equipment, reporting shortages to the supervisor
- checking the working condition of the dishwashing machine in accordance with specifications and rectifying any differences
- filling the dishwashing machine with specified amounts of designated chemicals
- monitoring the usage of dishwashing machines and chemicals to ensure efficient use of water and chemicals
