We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable PM Steward/Dishwasher to join our exceptional Stewarding team. The role of PM Steward/Dishwasher is critical to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the hotel kitchen and food service areas. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all hotel china, silverware, and cookware are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized according to Hyatt's hygiene standards. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights, as well as the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that may occasionally involve customer interaction. Additionally, Stewards may assist in plating and transporting food during events, requiring the necessary Food Handler Certification.
The PM Steward/Dishwasher will work primarily during afternoon and evening shifts on weekdays, including holidays, with weekend availability strongly preferred to meet the operational demands of the hotel’s food and beverage services. This role plays an indispensable part in supporting the culinary team by ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of all kitchenware, thus contributing to seamless food service and ultimately to guest satisfaction. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or kitchen stewarding preferred
- Food Handler Certification
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight
- Ability to stand for extended periods
