The Steward position at Waldorf Astoria New York is vital in supporting the culinary and dining operations to maintain the hotel’s renowned luxury service standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping, kitchen, or stewarding departments preferred
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
  • ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
  • physical stamina to handle manual labor
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to upholding luxury service standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen support role preferred
  • knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher
  • scrub pots and pans to ensure they meet luxury standards

  • perform cleaning duties including mopping floors and removing trash from kitchen and dining areas
