Job Description

Sodexo is a global leader in providing integrated food service and facilities management solutions. Established with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the communities it serves, Sodexo operates across various sectors including corporate, healthcare, education, and sports and leisure. At its core, Sodexo values diversity, inclusion, and a culture of belonging, ensuring every employee is treated fairly and with respect, and fostering an environment where individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully. The company’s presence at major venues such as Hard Rock Stadium exemplifies its role in supporting large-scale, complex operations that demand excellence and attention to detail.

This particular opportunity is located at Hard Rock Stadium, and is ideal for individuals who are passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role of Steward Supervisor is a part-time position offering a competitive pay rate of $24 per hour. Working varying shifts with open availability preferred, this role demands flexibility and a strong commitment to supporting operational needs across a variety of food service venues within the stadium, including restaurants, concessions, banquets, premium services, and catering operations.

As a Steward Supervisor at Sodexo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all stewarding operations run smoothly and meet the rigorous sanitation and safety standards expected in a premium hospitality environment. You will oversee a team of stewarding staff, providing leadership and direct supervision to ensure that all back-of-house areas remain clean, organized, and ready to support food service. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from conducting pre-shift briefings to reviewing safety protocols, assigning duties based on operational priorities, and supporting the training and development of team members in proper sanitary practices.

The Steward Supervisor is a crucial liaison between stewarding staff and culinary and operations leadership, working collaboratively to maintain workflow efficiency and uphold consistency in standards across all service points. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented supervisor who understands the importance of sanitation standards, is capable of handling chemical and warewashing systems safely, and can physically manage the demands of the role, including frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

In addition to leading and supporting the stewarding team, the Steward Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity and reputation of Sodexo’s services at Hard Rock Stadium, particularly during high-profile events where quality and professionalism are paramount.

Sodexo is committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment, allowing employees to balance their professional responsibilities with personal life commitments. The company offers comprehensive benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings plans among others. This fosters a career path that not only rewards performance but also invests in employee growth and well-being. Working at Sodexo means becoming part of a larger mission to create a better everyday experience for clients and communities alike.
