The Steward Supervisor role at Sodexo, located at T-Mobile Park, is a part-time position with varying shifts requiring open availability, ideally suited for individuals passionate about maintaining high standards in food service operations. The pay range is competitive, offering between $25 and $27.30 per hour. This position is integral to ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient back-of-house environment that supports diverse food service lines such as restaurants, banquets, concessions, premium services, and catering. As a Steward Supervisor, you will lead stewarding staff, overseeing daily and event-driven operations to meet sanitation, safety, and organizational standards consistently.
In this supervisory role, you will conduct pre-shift briefings, assign tasks aligned with operational priorities, and ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols. You will be responsible for training and onboarding new staff on proper sanitation procedures and safe work practices, contributing to an efficient workflow that enhances the overall customer experience. The role requires physical capability, including the ability to lift and move heavy items regularly, underscoring the importance of safety in the workplace. Reporting on staffing, readiness, and conditions of kitchen and support areas will be part of your daily responsibilities.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- minimum of 2-4 years of experience in stewarding, sanitation, or back-of-house food service operations
- prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- working knowledge of sanitation standards, chemical handling, and warewashing systems
- ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- supervise stewarding staff and assign work based on operational priorities and service volume
- conduct pre-shift briefings to review assignments, safety expectations, and sanitation priorities
- support training and onboarding of stewarding staff on sanitation procedures and safe work practices
- maintain readiness of kitchens, service areas, and support spaces to meet daily and event-driven demands
- ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and operational standards
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
