Currently, Sycuan is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team in the role of Dishwasher, an hourly position integral to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen environment. The Dishwasher role is essential for the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all pots, pans, utensils, and dishware are cleaned and made available to the kitchen staff in a timely manner. The person in this role supports kitchen safety by properly organizing soiled items, mopping spills, and maintaining an orderly work area. This position also requires upholding sanitary standards by cleaning work surfaces and equipment, disposing of waste correctly, and ensuring proper handling of linens and towels. Staff in this role must complete all mandatory trainings, including health and safety protocols, to ensure compliance with the highest standards of workplace and food safety.

Job Duties
- Provides kitchen with adequate supply of clean pots, pans, utensils and dishware by scraping, racking, stacking and washing, unloading dishwasher, manually washing items as needed and putting items away when dry to the appropriate area
- Ensures kitchen safety by organizing soiled pots, pans, and dishes prior to loading them into dishwasher, mopping and cleaning spills, and placing caution signs on wet floors and in hazardous areas according to established procedures
- Maintains sanitary kitchen by cleaning counters, shelves, walls, ceilings and equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, placing soiled linen and towels into appropriate bins according to established procedures
- Ensures a clean and orderly storage area by arranging and straightening food products and equipment, wiping shelves and counters, disposing of empty cartons, boxes and trash, and sweeping and mopping storage area floors
- Complete mandatory trainings including but not limited to health and safety, as required by the department
