We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible Steward/Dishwasher to join the food services team at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. This full-time role is critical in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall hygiene of the museum’s kitchen area, dining spaces, and kitchen wares. Paying close attention to detail, the Steward/Dishwasher ensures that all dishware is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, floors are spotless, and that dining surfaces are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness. The Steward/Dishwasher is expected to handle multiple tasks including operating dish machines safely, managing waste disposal efficiently, and assisting with the set-up and break-down of banquet and catering events. These duties require physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that can include hot, cold, and humid conditions. Candidates must be prepared to engage in strenuous physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently standing or walking for up to eight hours during a shift.
