The role of Steward at The Essex Resort & Spa is a foundational position vital to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization that the resort is known for. As a Steward, you will be responsible for the meticulous cleaning of kitchen pots and pans, ensuring that all cooking equipment is spotless and ready for use. This position demands attention to detail, as all food and smoke stains must be thoroughly removed before storage. Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace is crucial, including the removal of trash, cleaning floors, and sanitizing counters at the end of shifts. Additionally, the Steward oversees all receiving functions for the hotel, resort, and spa, ensuring the proper handling and organization of incoming supplies.
