As a leader in the hospitality industry, Hilton not only focuses on creating memorable stays for its guests but also places a strong emphasis on building a supportive and empowering environment for its team members.

The Utility Steward role at Hilton is a pivotal position dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas while ensuring a seamless and pleasant service experience for guests. This full-time role centers around the core responsibilities of cleaning and maintaining serviceware, kitchen equipment, and workspaces to the highest standards of hygiene and hospitality. As a Utility Steward, you will be more than just a cleaner; you will be a vital contributor to the team’s success, spreading warmth and light through your dedication and meticulous care.

In this role, you will keep chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and other service items spotless, ensuring that every dish served meets Hilton’s strict quality standards. You will also monitor stock levels, keeping supplies and equipment well stocked and organized, which is essential for smooth day-to-day operations and special events. Maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness through tasks like mopping and trash removal is crucial to support the health and safety standards expected in the hospitality industry.

Moreover, you will play an active role in supporting events by preparing and setting up clean serviceware for banquets and functions, helping create memorable occasions for guests. The position also involves mentoring new team members, sharing your expertise to help strengthen the entire steward team’s performance. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations is a must, underscoring Hilton’s commitment to guest and team member wellbeing.

Hilton’s team member culture is founded on core values including hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a focus on the present moment to maximize positive impact. These principles guide every action and interaction within the company, ensuring a workplace where employees can thrive professionally and personally. Hilton is invested in the wellbeing of its team members through a comprehensive benefits package that includes incredible travel perks, paid parental leave, generous paid time off, mental health resources, and financial security programs such as stock purchase plans and retirement savings options.

Joining Hilton means becoming part of an award-winning workplace culture consistently recognized as one of the World’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune. The company is committed to diversity, inclusion, and development, offering career advancement opportunities and support every step of the way. Whether you are starting your career or seeking a new professional challenge, Hilton’s Utility Steward role offers a chance to contribute to a globally respected hospitality company while growing your skills and enjoying a fulfilling work environment.
