Job Description

The hiring establishment is a hospitality-focused restaurant within a hotel setting, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all food service outlets. This establishment strives to create an environment that is not only welcoming and professional for guests but also safe and well-organized for staff. Known for its commitment to quality service, the restaurant promotes a culture centered around professionalism, team collaboration, and adherence to property standards. Emphasizing punctuality, personal grooming, and attentive service, the company supports a positive and productive work environment where associates are encouraged to meet clearly defined goals and uphold the company’s service culture, labeled as "The Keys to Making it Right." The role presented is an hourly position for a Gold Key|PHR level one associate, focusing primarily on cleanliness and sanitation duties throughout the restaurant and hotel food service sections.

This role requires the individual to thoroughly understand and perform job-related tasks to company standards, ensuring all food service areas meet established daily and weekly cleanliness checklists and sanitation standards. The associate will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of dish room equipment such as carts and fixtures, ensuring proper operation and cleanliness standards are met. The role expands beyond routine sanitizing to include reporting and coordinating equipment repairs when necessary and supporting ongoing staff training and meetings for consistent procedural improvements.

The associate is expected to be punctual, presentable, and approachable while maintaining professional collaboration with both guests and fellow associates. Key aspects of the job include the safe and smart use of cleaning tools and materials, attention to detail in task completion, and supportive teamwork to preserve a positive work environment. Physical demands include the ability to lift and handle equipment and supplies typically weighing between 50-70 pounds repeatedly during shifts. The position may involve participation in special cleaning projects as assigned, contributing to the overall operational safety and guest satisfaction that the company prioritizes. The role promises opportunities for personal growth through continuous training and the chance to be part of a reputable hospitality organization dedicated to upholding exceptional service standards and workplace safety.
