Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- food handlers certification
- previous experience in dishwashing or stewarding preferred
- ability to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50lbs
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to follow health and safety protocols
Job Qualifications

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays to accommodate banquet event schedules
- ability to lift, push, pull a moderate amount of weight (up to 50lbs)
- ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
- food handlers certification required
- previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume banquet setting
- attention to detail
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize all hotel china, dishware, glassware, and cookware
- ensure back of house areas, including kitchens and pantries, are clean and organized
- assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet service equipment
- support banquet operations by maintaining cleanliness and providing necessary food items and/or supplies
- adhere to health and safety standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
- monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, china, glassware, dishware, cookware, and banquet equipment
- maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness
- run food and assist with plate ups or buffets
- review event orders to ensure preparedness
