This position is within a dynamic food service environment, with particular emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation during the FIFA World Cup events. The employer operates in a high-volume kitchen setting that serves thousands of attendees and requires an efficient and dedicated Dishwasher to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Given the prestigious nature of events like the FIFA World Cup, strict compliance with safety and hygiene standards is paramount. The role involves hands-on work maintaining cleanliness across kitchen work areas and equipment throughout several critical event dates, including June 19, June 22, June 25, and July 1. The position requires successful completion of a background check before employment, which will be facilitated via a separate email link. The Dishwasher’s role focuses on extensive cleaning duties and operational support in the kitchen to ensure all tools, surfaces, and appliances meet sanitation requirements. Daily responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors at intermittent intervals to comply with health and safety standards, ensuring workspaces remain orderly and hazard-free. The role requires the operation of large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers, necessitating familiarity with the safe handling of commercial kitchen equipment. The Dishwasher is responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, as well as all food preparation machines and equipment which are used continuously in a busy kitchen setting. Maintaining kitchen hygiene also includes washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other prep surfaces as assigned, reflecting a critical contribution to food safety.
In addition to cleaning, the Dishwasher will handle waste management duties including segregation and removal of trash to designated containers, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans as needed to prevent contamination and odors. The role involves physically transferring supplies and equipment between storage spaces and work areas, which requires strict attention to safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or similar environment preferred

- Strong attention to detail
