Situated at the pinnacle of Vermont, Spruce Peak harmonizes luxury hospitality with outdoor recreation, attracting visitors and residents alike who seek a vibrant yet serene mountain lifestyle.
At Spruce Peak, we are currently looking to add a Steward (Dishwasher) to our dedicated culinary team. This position not only requires physical strength and stamina but also a commitment to high-quality service, as it directly impacts the dining experience of our guests.
The Steward’s responsibilities extend beyond dishwashing; they assist chefs and managers with various projects, maintain storerooms and food service areas ensuring they meet health department standards, and communicate effectively with the entire food and beverage team. This role offers more than just a job—it provides a chance to be part of a community that values personal growth, teamwork, and work-life balance in a breathtaking setting.
Spruce Peak provides competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, alongside various sought-after benefits. These include paid time off, health benefits after 30 days, ski passes to Stowe Mountain Resort in the winter, and golf memberships at Stowe Country Club during the summer. Employees also enjoy complimentary and discounted stays at Hyatt Hotels worldwide, onsite fitness memberships, and discounts at the Spa and Restaurant outlets. Additional employee perks include 401(k) matching and other opportunities that support both personal and professional development.
Working at Spruce Peak means enjoying a vibrant community where you can thrive professionally while engaging in world-class outdoor activities such as mountain biking, skiing, and exploring local breweries and farms. The role of Steward offers interesting and challenging work, with plenty of opportunities for advancement. Whether you are just beginning your career or looking to enhance your existing skills, Spruce Peak welcomes you to apply and join a team that is passionate about excellence and guest satisfaction.
