Serenely located within the historic Kansas City Club building, The Hotel Kansas City stands as a premier destination that masterfully blends the old-world charm of a historic social club with contemporary luxury and elegance. Rooted in over a century of history as the leading social meeting place, The Hotel Kansas City offers guests an extraordinary experience characterized by its unique setting ideal for memorable events, inventive dining, and vibrant nightlife. With 144 well-appointed guest rooms, the hotel features the Town Company—a three-meal restaurant; Nighthawk, a lively cellar cocktail bar with live music; and a welcoming lobby lounge and bar designed to bring locals and visitors together for spontaneous social gatherings. The hotel's extensive event space spans 20,000 square feet, showcasing impressive historic ballrooms along with a stunning 3,000-square-foot rooftop event patio, providing versatile venues for a variety of occasions.

The role of Steward or Dishwasher at The Hotel Kansas City is instrumental in maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene expected in a luxury hotel setting. This fast-paced position demands an individual who is diligent, organized, and able to interact effectively with both team members and guests. The primary responsibility focuses on the upkeep and sanitization of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware, essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining services. The Steward is also expected to assist with general cleaning duties, ensure proper storage of equipment, and uphold health and safety regulations. As a key support role within food and beverage operations, the Steward helps create a seamless and pleasant dining experience by keeping the back-of-house environment spotless and well-maintained.

Hyatt associates, including those at The Hotel Kansas City, thrive in an environment that demands exceptional performance but rewards it with meaningful career opportunities, job enrichment, and a supportive workplace culture. For those ready to embrace a challenging yet fulfilling role in hospitality, this position offers a chance to grow within a respected hotel brand. The Steward will work closely with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage, taking direction for tasks that go beyond standard cleaning duties, including assisting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely preparation and plating of menu orders. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness across kitchen and service areas. By delivering consistent, high-quality support, the Steward plays a vital role in upholding the esteemed reputation of The Hotel Kansas City and ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
