The available position is a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage and Culinary category. The hourly pay rate is $22.80. The position emphasizes maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency within the kitchen and store room areas. This is a critical support role responsible for operating and maintaining washing equipment, sanitizing tools and kitchen areas, and ensuring hygiene standards are met consistently. The role requires hands-on involvement with dishwashers, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing, and trash compaction equipment. Additionally, the role involves receiving deliveries, storing perishables correctly, rotating stock, and ensuring that clean wares are stored appropriately to maintain food safety standards.

This position expects open availability, acknowledging that working hours may be flexible to meet operational demands. The ideal candidate will be involved in washing and disinfecting kitchen equipment, including tables, knives, and utensils, with a focus on using the correct detergents and sanitizing chemicals in the three-compartment sink. There is an emphasis on attention to detail during inspections, re-scrubbing, and re-washing of dishes or silverware to meet the highest cleanliness standards. The role also includes maintenance tasks such as emptying and cleaning trash cans, organizing recycling bins, and mopping assigned areas. Physical requirements include standing or walking for extended periods, lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, and performing bending or stooping motions.
