Job Description

Pacific Hospitality Group is a reputable family-focused hospitality company that provides a unique value proposition to investors and team members through an owner/operator approach. The company is committed to long-term holds that foster sustainable growth and allow for business expansion alongside career development for its team members. Known for its principled entrepreneurship and customer-focused philosophy, Pacific Hospitality Group integrates core values such as integrity, compliance, value creation, humility, respect, and fulfillment into every aspect of its operations. Their vision is to enrich people's lives by offering memorable experiences, giving back to communities, and honoring God in all their endeavors. This approach not only builds a strong foundation for business success but also creates a positive work culture centered on respect and team collaboration.

The Steward position at Pacific Hospitality Group plays a crucial role within their food and beverage operations, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and food service areas. This permanent, wage-based role is designed for individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of upholding health department standards and company policies related to food safety and cleanliness. As a Steward, you will be on the front line supporting culinary and food service teams by ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are properly washed, sanitized, and stored efficiently. This allows the kitchen operations to run smoothly and enhances the overall dining experience for customers.

In this role, you will be performing essential tasks such as operating dishwashing equipment safely and maintaining kitchen sanitation across work areas including storage rooms, food prep surfaces, floors, walls, and drains. Additionally, the Steward is expected to assist culinary staff by making clean cookware and utensils readily accessible, support catering and banquet events, and help with receiving and organizing supplies when necessary. This position demands an individual who is attentive to detail, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a cohesive team, especially during busy periods.

Physical stamina is important for success in this role since it involves long hours standing, walking, frequent bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The kitchen environment may be wet, hot, or humid, and the Steward should be comfortable working in such conditions while following all safety and sanitation protocols. Flexible availability is also required, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.

By joining Pacific Hospitality Group as a Steward, you will become part of a company that values principled entrepreneurship and enforces a respectful and ethical workplace. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in growing within the hospitality industry, offering a steady role that supports team success and customer satisfaction. Whether you are starting your hospitality career or bringing experience from related fields, the Steward position offers a dynamic and fulfilling work environment with chances for advancement and learning within a respected hospitality group focused on long-term value creation.
