Job Requirements
- Previous experience in stewarding, dishwashing, food service or hospitality
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be physically able to perform demanding kitchen tasks
- Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks safely
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely
- Availability to support special events and peak business periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous stewarding, dishwashing, food service, hospitality, hotel, private club, restaurant or kitchen support experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation, food safety and operational excellence
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and complete repetitive tasks with consistency and professionalism
- Dependable, team-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
- Strong work ethic with ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs
- Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays and special events
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull and perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift and carry equipment, supplies and products as needed
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation procedures and kitchen operations preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure a clean, safe and pleasant atmosphere is maintained in the kitchen at all times
- Receive deliveries and cold prep as instructed
- Perform any opening and closing side work as required
- Maintain store rooms and refrigerators and ensure they are kept clean
- Ensure food safety guidelines and company food quality standards are adhered to at all times
- Complete time and temperature control logs daily for HACCP compliance
- Maintain positive demeanor in high stress situations
- Operate dish washing machine including set-up, loading, running and removing clean dishes
- Maintain dish washing machine cleanliness and ensure filters are frequently cleaned
- Place clean dishes on accurate shelves ready for reuse
- Stock various food and beverage concession outlets
- Manually hand wash and scrub pots for thorough cleaning
- Keep all kitchen floors swept and mopped at all times
- Empty trash cans and keep trash dumpster areas clean
- Report safety hazards or unsafe conditions immediately to manager
- Know and align with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
- Report to work on time and in complete uniform
- Ensure security and proper handling of company assets and equipment
- Support special events, VIP functions, member experiences and seasonal culinary programs as assigned
